Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Artisan Partners announced today the promotion of Matthew H. Kamm, CFA, to portfolio co-manager for the firm’s U.S. Mid-Cap Growth strategy, effective September 30, 2012. Mr. Kamm has served as an associate portfolio manager on the firm’s Growth team since January 2010 and will continue in his role as associate portfolio manager for the firm‘s U.S. Small-Cap Growth and Global Opportunities strategies.

Mr. Kamm joined Artisan Partners’ Growth team in 2003 as a research analyst covering the health care sector. Prior to joining Artisan Partners, Mr. Kamm was an associate equity research analyst at Banc of America Securities and a senior operations analyst for NYU Medical Center in New York, NY. He holds a BA in Public Policy from Duke University and an MBA in Finance and Operations Management from New York University.
